About VoIP

Voice over Internet Protocol means in essence sending telephone calls over computer networks, including the Internet.

A business-class VoIP telephone system is expandable and fully integrates with the telephone system. You can dial and be reached on normal telephone numbers as before.

You can plug any analogue phone into a VoIP PBX including cordless ones. You can also use a VoIP phone which looks like a normal phone, but plugs into the office LAN. And yes, you can use a headset and a software phone running on your computer, which can be very useful for temporary use or while travelling.

Callers won't notice any difference, but you will notice the upfront and ongoing cost savings as well as enjoying a more powerful and modern telephone system!

VoIP is something that has been provided as an expensive add-on to corporate PBX's for a number of years. This is changing and the benefits of using VoIP technology to decrease costs and increase flexibility are now available to organisations of any size.
